The Spelling Rule
Just add -S is the most common plural rule and applies to most nouns. When the suffix -S is added, it changes the meaning of the noun to mean more than one. However, some nouns are always plural like clothes and scissors and some nouns are always singular like advice and homework. Add -S can also be applied to verbs for verb conjugation to create 3rd person verbs for he, she and it. E.G. I run and he runs too. This plural rule applies to most nouns but remember there are 7 plural rules. It is in the format of an education rap song with actions.
