The Spelling Rule

The Spelling Rule: To spell a one syllable word that ends with a /k/ sound: Use the digraph 'ck' after a short vowel sound. Use 'k' after a long vowel sound or a consonant. Most two syllable words use 'c' for the final /k/ sound.
